GT Open, Hungaroring: Roda is leading the GTS standing, Sdanewitsch is first in the Gentleman classification. Podium for Cameron-Griffin and Flohr took the first position in race 1 among the Gentleman

Giorgio Roda is more and more leader in the GT Open International, GTS category. In the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #56, the young Italian driver – at his debut in the very hard continental competition – rules the championship’s GTS Driver standing with 42 points. From the first round onward, Roda has always finished with positive results. The latest demonstration of his potential arrived at the Hungaroring, fourth round of the championship (last weekend). Roda, together with Paolo Ruberti (fourth in the championship with 29 points) ended race 1 in second position, in the overall and GTS stading. In race 2, Roda-Ruberti were fourth.

Another podium for AF Corse, in race 2, thanks to Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin in the Ferrari 458 Italia #54. In the first three rounds of the championship, some unlucky episodes affected the race of the duo. In the Hungarian challenge, they took the third place among the GTS cars and this could be just the beginning. In race 1, Cameron-Griffin were ninth.

Thomas Flohr and Francesco Castellacci, in their AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #53, were seventh and fifth respectively in race 1 and 2. Thanks to the perfomance, Flohr was first in race 1 in the Gentleman Driver standing.

Eighth position in race 1 and withdrawal in race 2 for Claudio Sdanewitsch and Michele Rugolo in the Ferrari 458 Italia #55. Sdanewitsch still keeps a good position in the GTS Driver Standing (fifth) with 24 points; the driver is in first spot of the Gentleman Driver Championship’s classification.

AF Corse has the top in the GTS Team standing with 90 points; Ombra Racing is second with 44.

The next event of the championship will be at Silverstone, July 19th and 20th.
