NEWS / Double win in the “Total 24 Hours of Spa” for the AF Corse Ferrari 458’s. Title for Cameron and Griffin

SPA, July 26th – First and second place in PRO AM category for the AF Corse Ferrari 458’s in the “Total 24 Hours of Spa”. The 458 #47, driven by Gianmaria Bruni, Pasin Lathouras, Stephane Lemeret and Alessandro Pier Guidi gained the highest step of the podium at the end of a race run in the head positions from the very beginning. In second position among the PRO AM cars, Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin, Francisco Guedes and Davide Rigon in the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia # 51. This poker of drivers too raced in the Belgian round of the Blancpain Endu- rance Series for the top positions, scoring a new high level performance. Thanks to the result, Cameron and Griffin won the PRO AM Cup Drivers title.
Sixth spot in PRO AM for the Ferrari 458 Italia #52 with Adrien De Leener, Cedric Sbirrazzuoli, Toni Vilander and Raffaele Giammaria. The race of the 458 #52 was affected by a brake problem that caused an off-track in the first stint of Vilander, immediately after the start. Following five laps lost, the Ferrari # 52 come back to race and the four drivers realized great perfomances. Gradually, they made a strong comeback for an excellent final result, considering how things were few laps later the green light.
The race of the Ferrari #53 driven by Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Enzo Potolicchio, Marco Cioci and Michele Rugolo finished in the lap 36: Rugolo was involved in a big accident in the restart afterwards the safety car.
In AM Cup, Alexander Moiseev, Garry Kondakov, Riccardo Ragazzi and Rui Aguas took the chequered flag in se- venth spot with their AF Corse Ferrari #50 in Kaspersky livery.
