Victory and podium in the “6 Hours Of Shanghai”,  seventh round in the FIA World Endurance Championship

SHANGHAI, November 1st – Victory in LMGTE AM category for to the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #83 – driven by François Perrodo, Emmanuel Collard and Rui Aguas – and second step on podium in the LMGTE Pro with the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #51 of Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander. This is the outcome in the “6 Hours of Shanghai”, 7th and penultimate round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) raced in very wet conditions. The race got underway behind the Safety Car and while went green light after 13 minutes of running, the conditions caught several drivers out and one safety car and four Full Course Yellows were declared during the six hour race.

FUJI SPEEDWAY, October 11th - Victory for the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia #51, in the GTE Pro category, in the "6 Hours of Fuji", the sixth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander, the current GT world champions started from the second position on grid, took the lead at the third hour. From that moment, they did not give up more the first place and ended with a lap over the Porsche #92. In third place, Davide Rigon and James Calado in the AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italy #71. In the GT drivers championship, Richard Lietz (Porsche) is now only 7 points ahead of Rigon-Calado and 16.5 in front of Bruni-Vilander.
The good news, under the rain in the Japanese round of the world competition, do not end there.

The target is clear: to gain the first positions in the rankings and bring new points to Ferrari to maintain the leadership in the GT Manufactures standing. AUSTIN, September 20th – Two podium finishes in both GT categories for the AF Corse Ferrari 458’s Italia under the chequered flag of the “6 Hours of the Circuit of the Americas” (Austin, US), fifth round in the FIA World Endu- rance Championship (WEC). Davide Rigon and James Calado, in the Ferrari 458 Italia #71, took the third step on podium in the GTE Pro category at the end of a race in recovery (they started from position 7 on grid). Positive race and third position in GTE Am category for François Perrodo, Emmanuel Collard and Rui Agus in the Ferrari 458 Italia #83. Starting from third position, the trio in the #83 fought for the top positions, closing with a new podium.
