CLAUDIO SDANEWITSCH: "THE 2011 SEASON WAS GREAT"
The 2011 GT Open's season is over. AF Corse and its drivers were great protagonists of the challenges around the best european tracks. Now, we speak about their emotions.
Claudio Sdanewitsch: "It
was defined as a season to learn with the GT2 car. It was a season which brought
me with the help of my team mate Michele Rugolo quite closer to the top
professional drivers in driving a GT2 car.
I could close the gap with Michele help seriously. There is still work to do, what we should realize in 2012 season. We improved from race to race. We had in Imola and in Monza Pole Position. I was driving in Spa in wet conditions and in Monza my best races of the season. In Spa I was driving in rain close to the race leaders lap times and in Monza I was driving till the safety car close to the end of the race at position 2.
It
was a great season thanks to the support of AF Corse, who put a great technally
and reliable car, Thanks to Amato Ferrari, my engeneer, all mechanics
who worked on the car and for sure tanks to Michele Rugolo in special,
my fast and brilliant coaching team mate and Niki Cadei who raced with
me in Monza.
Barcelona as the season final is a great challenge due to the great number of cars in the races. It is difficult to be without mistakes because three championships are in the same race doing the final of the season. Very good atmosphere because of the professional and friendly spirit in the team of AF Corse.
