Win in Bahrain to take home the titles

BAHRAIN, November 27th – “Six Hours of Bahrain” on Saturday 30th November, final race of the Fia World Endurance Championship (Wec): the fight is for the titles in the GTE Pro Team category, GT Manufactures and GTE Drivers. Both the GTE Pro AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia will have a driver’s exchange: Gianmaria Bruni, in the Ferrari #51, will race together with Toni Vilander; Giancarlo Fisichella will be at the wheel of the Rossa #71 shared with Kamui Kobayashi.

This choise has further chances to win the GTE Pro Drivers world championship. On the eve of the final round, both Fisichella and Bruni have the possibility to take the crown considering that they are in second position with 120 points, 5,5 behind the top: race in different cars together with very fast teammates doubles the hope of success.

In the GT Manufactures standing, Ferrari has the second position on 215 points (17,5 behind Aston Martin). AF Corse is second among the GTE Pro teams thanks to its 120 points (8,5 behind Aston Martin Racing).

GTE Am – At the wheel of the AF Corse Ferrari #61, the trio composed of Matt Griffin, Fran- cois Perrodo and Emmanuel Collard. In the same GTE Am category, eyes upon the 8 Star Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia #81 (managed by AF Corse). Enzo Potolicchio, Rui Aguas and Davide Rigon can give the GTE Am Team titles to 8 Star (in second position). In the GTE Drivers standing there are many things to disclose: Potolicchio and Aguas are third on 110 points, just 9 behind the top (Rigon did not run every race).

The start of the “Six Hours of the Bahrain” is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 30th (GMT +1).
