AF Corse, the outset of the new season in the FIA WEC

FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC): three Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 for AF Corse team, the champion of the GTE Pro category. In the most important competition for GT cars and prototypes, this will be the only italian team to line up with two 458 Italia GT2 in the GTE Pro and one in the GTE Am.

Ferrari wins the GT constructorsí championship, AF Corse takes GTE Pro Team title. A stratospheric outcome to the Bahrain 6 Hours, the sixth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship. With two races in hand, the team has taken the titles in the most important international championship for GT and Prototype cars, aimed at reviving the spectacle of the great marques, absent for some time. Giancarlo Fisichella and Toni Vilander, the latter for this race only standing in for usual team-mate Gianmaria Bruni, beat the rest of the GTE Pro field, taking their Ferrari to a fourth consecutive win: this great run began with the Le Mans 24 Hours, continuing in Silverstone, Interlagos and now Bahrain.

Sao Paolo, September 16th - Giancarlo Fisichella and Gianmaria Bruni win Sao Paolo 6 Hours for AF Corse in Ferrari 458 Italia GT2. The Italian crew drove a perfect race, with no mistakes. Having started from third on the grid, Fisichella and Bruni gradually moved up the order in this the fifth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, in Brazil.
